Thursday May 6th
Today we sent all the kids to school and we just hung out at the house! We watched some movies and hit the grocery store. After picking up the kids they wanted to show grandma and grandpa how well they could ride their bikes. Even grandpa got up on David's bike!! Grandma sat and watched and David grilled up our yummy steaks!
After clean-up we headed out to Alyssa's soccer game! The weather was not cooperating and was a little chilly. We made sure that grandma was all bundled up though. The game was awesome and they ended up winning!! All season long David has been telling Alyssa that she needs to chew on rocks!! All the girls seem to be little pansies when the ball is headed for them. Not our little Alyssa. She will go up against anyone, even girls that will just take her out. She ends up on the ground a lot, but all the other parents will say "looks like that chewing on rocks is paying off!" We are very proud of her!

And the FUN begins!!! Wednesday, May 5th Today we went and Picked Mom and John up from the airport. The kids were so excited to have family and friends come to visit. We kept Haylee home from school and went to the senior BBQ after picking them up from the airport. Who can pass up a free lunch! The weather was a little cooler than we had hoped for , but was still nice. At least we did not have snow like Utah!

Alyssa for 7th grade student council Alyssa really wanted to run for student council. She filled out all the paperwork by herself and turned it in and then wa told she needed to make 3 posters. She came home one day and started to make cute poster. David asked her what she was doing and figured that the poster she was making just would not do. He left to pick up Haylee from school and came back with sack fulls of poster making essentials. Yes he shopped at Hobby Lobby all by himself! Alyssa was so excited. The best thing is David had all these fantastic ideas for the posters and everything!! What a great DAD! Here is a look at 2 of the posters. I am not sure why we did not get a picture of the third one because it was just as clever. Everyone here is a Nebraska Husker fan and so we printed a Husker logo and wrote "The Huskers are voting for Alyssa C., so should you!" Anyway I think the posters where a so dang cute and she was so excited to find out that she will be a part of the 7th grade student council next year! YEAH for Alyssa. We are very proud of her and all of her accomplishments!

The Cutest Cheerleaders Ever Haylee and Addyson were being Cheerleaders at Alyssa's soccer game! They were so dang cute and everyone loved them. This was their cheer, "G-O- Let's go" They even used their arms and did actions. So adorable! Some one even gave them pom poms to use.
