Alyssa's Soccer

Alyssa has always wanted to play soccer and we have either not had the money or never thought about it at the right time. So we decided it was finally time to bite the bullet and put her in soccer. We got her all signed up and payed the fees (ouch) and bought the cleats and uniforms (double ouch). The first game came and Alyssa scored the very first goal of the game!! We were so excited and she was on cloud nine!!! Her team is in first place right now with no losses. Yeah Issy.

Haylee's first day of pre-school

So it was Haylee's first day of pre-school and it was pretty rough!! She had not met her teacher yet and I think that is why she was so apprehensive about going. She looked so cute in her new school dress and she wouldn't even let me take a picture of her. So while she wasn't hanging on to my leg I tried to snap a shot while she wasn't paying attention to me that much. This is what got!! Doesn't she look thrilled. She is so stubborn.

I finished aonther project that has been laying around for months. Here it is Here is why I decided on the color choice. I think brown is my new color.:) Here is my finished project! It is in the dining room right by the phone. David's sister's gave me the idea and it turned out great.

Finally Done..... YEAH!!!

So Yesterday, I finally finished a project that I have been working on for the past 4 years!! I was so excited that I was able to finish it. Especially because I hear the winters here in Omaha are terrible. And we all know that winter is just around the corner.

David looked at me and said, "I am so glad you finally finished my blanket for me." But we all know who's it really is. I will let him think it is his.

It is such a heavy blanket that while I was making it and had it on my lap to crochet, I would start sweating. I love it though and it was worth all the hard work that it took. It is such a good feeling to have actually made something with your own hands. I guess it is a good thing that I love doing those kind of projects. Here's my blanket!!
